  26. goh's language background • born in tokyo, spoke some japanese at home • moved to america and then canada, spoke only english • learned japanese again at age 10 • stayed in tokyo until age 24 • worked in america mostly after that • taught in japan for 9 years

  27. Where do you come from? • I was born in Kanazawa city. • I spent my whole life there until I came to Sapporo to attend Hokudai. • Our family moved a lot. I spent most of my childhood in Nagoya.
