“UNTIL I COME…”

“UNTIL I COME…”. “UNTIL I COME…”. Until the apostle Paul could come and be with the brethren, he wanted Timothy to do certain things. I believe we can take this statement and apply it to Christ and His second coming. Until I come…. “UNTIL I COME…”. …EMPHASIZE GOD’S WORD.

  1. “UNTIL I COME…”

  2. “UNTIL I COME…” Until the apostle Paul could come and be with the brethren, he wanted Timothy to do certain things. I believe we can take this statement and apply it to Christ and His second coming. Until I come…

  3. “UNTIL I COME…” …EMPHASIZE GOD’S WORD. 1. To the public reading of Scripture. 2. To exhortation. 3. To doctrine.

  4. “UNTIL I COME…” …USE YOUR SPIRITUAL GIFTS. Every Christian has the gift of the Holy Spirit, and therefore, possesses some gift from the Spirit. We are to use our gift(s) accordingly (Rom. 8:9; 12:6-8). One of the saddest things is to have a blessing or gift and not use it. Such is not pleasing to God.

  5. “UNTIL I COME…” …DEVOTE YOURSELF FULLY TO CHRIST. Jesus said that no one can serve two masters (Mt. 6:24). Every Christian who wants to go to heaven must decide that in all their ways they must be devoted to God and Jesus.

  6. “UNTIL I COME…” …TAKE SPIRITUAL INVENTORY. “Take heed to yourself.” Don’t try to teach others until your have taught yourself. Only by knowing what is right in your own life, can you be assured of helping others find what is right for their life.

  7. “UNTIL I COME…” Faithfulness means an everyday commitment to Christ. Until He comes may we devote ourselves to these things: 1. The reading of Scripture. 2. The using of our spiritual gifts. 3. Fully devoting ourselves to Jesus. 4. Taking spiritual inventory as we help others.
