  1. Your choice of programs at College/University may require you to take certain prerequisite courses. Students should ask their current math teacher which course they would recommend for them ~

  2. Traditional pathways. Taking Applied or U/C math doesn't necessarily "close doors" (if you work hard, get good marks, down the road you can still take and will be successful at a Gr.12 U course) There are pathways from 10 Applied to all grade 12 courses Transfer Credit MPM1H If you are in grade 10 and don’t require math for post-secondary programming consider taking MEL3E1-Math for Everyday Life~ Money, Mortgages, Interest....

  3. Students should ask their current math teacher which course they would recommend for them ~ If you need to take Statistics in University/College you should consider taking Data Management MDM4U1 . Taking MCR3U in your grade 10 year, or, taking MHF4U in your grade 11 year should only be for those students achieving very high marks, who are dedicated and mature enough to handle the workload If you find MCR3U1 challenging, or are taking MCF 3M1 then consider taking College Technology MCT4C1 to get to Advanced Functions MHF4U1. This will give you a grade 12 credit instead of another grade 11 credit.
