  3. SIMBOL GARIS Simbol garis hanya dipakai sebagai tanda. Dalam penggambarannya digunakan isopleth. Beberapa contoh isopleth adalah sebagai berikut : Isotherm Isohyse Isogone Isohyet Isobar isobath

  4. SIMBOL TITIK (DOT)umumnya, dot selalu digambarkan dalam bentuk titik. Dot dikatakan gambar yang dianggap tidak berdimensi karena bentuknya yang sangat kecil.

  5. SIMBOL BATANGSimbol batang (bar-graph) berbentuk seperti batang dimana panjang pendeknya batang menunjukkan quantum data.ada 2 macam simbol batang, yaitu :1. simbol batang vertikal (vertical bar graph)2. simbol batang horizontal (horizontal bar graph)

  6. GARIS KONTUR Garis kontur adalah garis yang menghubungkan titik-titik yang mempunyai ketinggian yang sama, yang diukur dari suatu bidang pembanding tertentu.

  7. Sifat-sifat garis kontur : 1. tidak pernah saling berpotongan.2. akan merenggang kalau topografi landai dan merapat kalau curam.3. tidak akan bertemu atau menyambung dengan yang bernilai lain.4. Penentuan besarnya kontur-kontur interval ditentukan oleh skala peta, variasi relief, dan tujuan khusus.
