  1. Development Services Center AutoCAD Engaged consulting services from a local Engineering firm to implement a Civil 3D modeling project of City underground infrastructure. Partnered with a local Engineering firm to help implement AutoCad Civil 3D 2013. A number of versions were being used throughout the Enterprise from 2004 – 2011. Trained 16 heavy AutoCad users on Civil 3D so City has skill set going further. Embarked on a policy to upgrade yearly (currently working on 2014 upgrade. Repackaged our AutoCad build as a result of the consulting services to buy suites instead of individual licenses. Determined that CLV had more licenses than what was needed by our employees. Purchased Precision PC’s and local install of licenses for power users . Determined strategy for middle tier and lower use users with a VDI solution so the servers do the heavy lifting. Paying the consultant to be our HelpDesk for this specialized software. Realized that training and ongoing training is critical for success. Currently in the process of doing same for Architectural suites with a different vendor who specializes in Architecture AutoCad implementations and has partnered with the Engineering firm. Terminated contract with CLV’s reseller for the past 20 years because we’ve gotten more service and more attention from our current vendors than what we’ve received over the last 20 years.
