  1. High Isolation Transmit/Receive Antennas (HITRA) for Advanced Electronic Warfare (EW) and Communications Applications. FIRST RF Corporation. Army Sponsoring Organization: CERDEC I2WD Multifunctional EW/Communications Antennas on MRAP • Purpose: • Provide higher level of isolation between collocated Blue Force communications systems and CREW and other RF transmitters through novel active cancellation technologies and tunable filtering. • Product(s): • Two HITRA prototype systems to US Army after the final system demonstration. • Currently at TRL 5, planned TRL 6 by end of Phase II • Iterative on-platform testing and modeling ensures fieldable, reliable solution. • Year 1 proves out the concept. Year 2 delivers field-applicable solutions. • Payoff: • Enable simultaneous communications and EW. • Integrates with legacy communication and EW equipment – no need to replace widely-fielded legacy EW and communication equipment. • Transitions: • Adaptation of this technology to the specific needs of fielded and future communications equipment. • Immediate support from JIEDDO, efforts have also garnered support from other DoD organizations, including PM EW and other groups spanning Army, Navy, and other customers. • FIRST RF will leverage the results a complete system demonstration at the end of Phase II to work with JIEDDO, US Army, US Navy, and our prime contractor partners to determine relevant opportunities for commercial transition of this system. • Resource requirements and sources: • Points of Contact: • Leo Diaz, ldiaz@firstrf.com, (303) 449-5211 ×149. • Ted Do, Ted.Quang.Do@us.army.mil, (732) 532-4664. HITRA System on HMMWV Internal cosite mitigation system including active and passive components HITRA System: Integration with key enabling antenna technologies Phase II & III Transition Milestones & Cost • Proposal #A2-3908; Contract #W15P7T-10-C-B610. • Period of Performance: 6 April 2010 - 30 June 2012.
