  1. Acts 7:44-53God is Bigger than your Container AUDIO, PDF, AND POWER POINT AVAILABLE @ KARENVINEYARD.ORG

  2. You Stephen, are charged on diverse dates in 33 AD or thereabouts, of the following counts: (a) That you spoke against the Holy Temple and against the Law of Moses and (b) That you stated that Jesus of Nazareth would destroy the Holy Temple and change the customs that Moses handed down to the Jews.

  3. 1. God’s covenant with Abraham (7:1-8) 2. Israel’s rejection of Joseph (7:9-16) 3. Israel’s rejection of Moses (7:17-41) 4. Israel’s rejection of the prophets (7:42-52) 5. Israel’s judgment sealed (7:53-60)

  4. Hebrews 8 V1 …we do have such a high priest, who sat down at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in heaven, and who serves in the sanctuary, the true tabernacle set up by the Lord, not by man V6,7 But the ministry Jesus has received is as superior to theirs as the covenant of which he is a mediator is superior to the old one, and it is founded on better promises. For if there had been nothing wrong with that first covenant, no place would have been sought for another.

  5. Are your traditions/temples hindering you from experiencing God?

  6. What size of a container is your God in?

  7. 1 Kings 8:27 But will God really dwell on earth? The heavens, even the highest heavens, cannot contain you. How much less this temple I have built.

  8. God is everywhere; He is near you. How does that affect your moment by moment living?

  9. Hebrews 8:10-12 This is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after that time, declares the Lord. I will put my laws in their minds and write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people. No longer will a man teach his neighbour or a man his brother saying, “Know the Lord,” because they will all know me, from the least of them to the greatest. For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.

  10. Guilty or not guilty?
