  2. Lewis and Clark Lewis and Clark are amazing! Lewis and Clark’s journey was very interesting. Lewis and Clark were very important people because Lewis and Clark were explorers. They started their expedition in 1804. They explored the Louisiana purchase and the Pacific coast. The president, Thomas Jefferson, sent them to explore new land. They gathered information about the Louisiana Territory and the Oregon Region. That is the reason why we think that they are interesting!

  4. Where Lewis and Clark started there journey Lewis and Clark’s Journey was very important! Lewis and Clark started their journey May 1804 and ended in September 1806 it took two years. It started in Saint Lewis and the Missouri River. They were exploring the northwestern part of America The event was important to Lewis and Clark because they were the first people to explore the new land. They explored all sorts of things like plains and hills and much more. The journey encounters the Sioux in August 1804. Lewis and Clark had a very, very long journey and it was very exciting! To Map

  5. Meeting Sacagawea Lewis and Clark met Sacagawea. They met her on October 1804. Lewis and Clark met Sacagawea at Fort Mandan. Sacagawea translated and helped them find food. She helped Lewis and Clark. She knew the land and helped guide the trip. She was a Shoshone Native American. Lewis and Clark needed her because they needed to be able to talk and trade with the Native Americans. There trip with her was outstanding! To Map

  6. Lewis and Clark Reaching the Pacific Ocean! Lewis and Clark’s journey to the Pacific Ocean took place on May 14, 1804. The journey came to an end at Fort Clatsop. Lewis and Clark were so happy because they achieved their dream. The event was very important to Lewis and Clark’s journey It was important because they finally finished exploring the land they set out to explore. It changed the world, and it helped people so much. The president was very excited! To Map
