  1. CEREAL BOX BOOK REPORT My reading class will be completing a “Cereal Box Book Report”. We are currently reading Haunted Castle on Hallows Eve in class. Below are the materials and instructions needed for this project. Students are able to bring my books home to work on the project. Materials needed: 1. Any size cereal box with lid taped shut 2. Paper to cover the box 3. Cardstock to cut out characters (I can send some home if needed) Their report will be graded on the following criteria: The front of the cereal box will be the title and illustration of Haunted Castle on Hallows Eve. (10pts.) This side will be cut across the top edge, side edge and bottom edge so it opens like a door. The back of the cereal box will be a summary of Haunted Castle on Hallows Eve. (10pts.) One side of the box will be a list of all of the characters and a brief description of their personality. (10pts.) The other side will describe the setting of the story. (10pts.) Inside the “door” they will color and glue on their favorite scene and place their cutout characters. (As big as possible ) (10pts.) The report can be hand written or typed. Neatness and spelling count! (10pts.) Have fun! If you have any questions please let me know! Thanks!!  Ms. Swihart
