  4. Schedules Friday Early Release Regular Tuesday Club Special Programs are before lunch. Assemblies are at the end of the school day.

  7. Homework Policies and Procedures • Homework must be turned in when collected in class to be considered on time. • Any assignment turned in late will be given half credit. • Students are given one day for every day they are absent to turn in absent assignments.

  8. Homework Policies and Procedures • Upon students return, the assignment given on the day before the absence is expected to be turned in the day they return.

  9. Attendance The number one reason Americans loose their job is because of tardies and absences. • Please call the office at 928-669-2202 ext 1000 to inform the school that your child is out. Personal is not considered excused. • Students are allowed 3 “free” tardies for each class. The fourth and all thereafter are a phone call home and a referral. Tardies can lead to suspension.

  10. Formative Assessments • These are five question quizzes student take at the end of standard being taught. • They are worth 20 points. • Students with 16 – 20 points are in Enrichment. • Students under 16 points are in Reteach. • Example Formative Assessment

  14. Technology in the classroom *Technology – I love incorporating technology into my lessons including cell-phones and music players. Students are not required to have either. However, students may only use these devices with teacher permission. *Smart-Board – I do use the Smart-Board. Let me show you. *Calculators – TI-84
