  1. Make Project Trick Shot video By: Noam N, Matt J, Stepan T, and Brennan B

  2. Team Mates • Noam N: I like to play Soccer, Baksetball and Lacrosse. • Matt J: I like to play Lacrosse, Hockey and Golf. • Brennan B: I like to run track and tennis. • Stepan T: I like play hockey and basketball.

  3. Our project • For our project we decided to make a trick shot video because we all play sports and we have seen videos on the internet of people making extraordinary shots. In the videos on the internet, we watched people make shots that looked fake so we wanted to show the viewers real shots that did not look fake.

  4. Work Report • Team meetings: In our team meetings we talked about the upcoming shots that we were going to record and use in our video. • Team Assignments: Our team assignments were • Noam: The bar bundle, the all-star shot, Soccer pick-ups. • Matt: The Egg Shot, The all-star shot. • Stepan: The Egg snipe, The all-star shot. • Brennan: The frozen rope, the all-star shot. • Team Efforts: Everyone on our team gave a lot of effort, especially on the trick shots and the documentation. All the team members gave a lot of effort being patient when it took a team member a little longer to make their shot. • Research: For our research we watched videos on the internet to give us ideas for some of our trick shots. We also had to research different camera angles and how to edit the shots on the computer. Our team looked at other wikis in order for us to understand the correct format for documentation. • Work plan: Our work plan was for all of us to record shots for the video within the six weeks that were given using different camera angles. We also updated our wiki so our peers could see what we were accomplishing. • Trials: Our team had many trials because it was difficult to make the shot so we had to keep repeating the process until we got it right. • Feedback: The feedback our peers gave us was very helpful and we took it into consideration for completing our project. • Ian: My thoughts are that the video was good, they are different than yours because I think you are doing to much of a celebration at the end. Is this to make the video longer or is it meant to be their? Have you considered making the video have some slow motion parts to it or reverse? I like the angels and everything you used for it. You need to take Noams last name out. I like the techniques/skills of different camera angles. This is a lot like dude perfect on you tube.(5/13)Jack: I think each trick should have an explanation to it, explaining what they will do.(5/20)Claire: I thought the video was but it seems to me that you should put some slides in to explain the shot or something kind of like that, also maybe you should put in some more shot of Brennan.(5/28)Dan: I think that the video needs to be a little bit more organized, also i think that you should add music in the video just like in the dude perfect video.(6/4) • Documentation: Documentation was very difficult and time consuming due to the fact that we did not understand how to document in the right format. The way we resolved this issue was by looking at other peoples wikis and by Mr. McCloud leaving suggestions on our wiki. • Changes in the process: Our group did not have any changes within the six week process.

  5. Conclusion • Our Project was very successful because we used our time wisely and we did not wait till the last minute to make the trick shots. We had that we had success on this project because we enjoyed making the trick shot video. Something else we did that made us successful is that we had good teamwork and did not fight at all. Lastly our team was very patient when it took other team members a longer time to make their shots. • Some things that we would do differently next time is, we would give ourselves more time to upload our final project. Also, we would ask the gym teacher in advance to use the gym compared to that day. Lastly we would time more efficiently to improve the quality of the project. • The majority of the shots were easy to make, but some of them were harder than we expected so they took longer. Also it was hard to find camera angles for some of the shots. But overall we enjoyed making this project.

  6. Media • Presentation software: To present the video we used iMovie, we used this because it is very easy to use and used by other people making similar videos. • Relevant video: The trick shot videos on you tube, also because they were helpful and they showed god examples of camera angles. • Appropriate text: We stated the names of our team members and also we stated our final remarks which gave the information on the whole video and the people participating in our group. • Appropriate pace: The video had good pace because the videos were able to be taken off the camera easily, also we made the shots in reasonable time. • Appropriate Layout: I think that the video layout is very good because the transitions are from sport to different sport. When transferring in did not look like we were repeating the same sport over and over again.
