  4. One Year • There are 365 days in one year. • There are 52 weeks in one year. • Leap year happens every 4th year. • Leap year occurs on February 29th.

  5. One Month • Here is the poem to help you remember how many days are in a certain month: “Thirty days hath September, April, June and November. When short February’s done, all the rest have 31.” • Using your knuckles and “valleys” on your fist helps you to know which months have 31 days.

  6. Seven Days of the Week • Sunday • Monday • Tuesday • Wednesday • Thursday • Friday • Saturday

  8. The Week • The week is Monday-Friday. • Students go to school during those days. • Most working people work during the week.

  9. The Weekend • The weekend days are Saturday and Sunday. • On the weekend you can choose to do whatever you want, even if it’s just relaxing. • Most people go to church on Sunday.
