  3. Test Dates 2010-2011 Writing Assessment • February 1, 2011 (Feb. 2 Make-ups) Achievement • April 11 - April 22, 2011* *Beginning 2011-12, Achievement test window will begin on first Monday on or after April 22 each year.

  4. New Achievement Levels • Beginning 2009-2010, TCAP results in R/LA, Math, and Science will be reported based on four achievement levels. • Proficiency redefined as mastery of a subject rather than minimal knowledge.

  10. New Law • Pub. Ch. 1127 • Requires each local board of education to develop a policy by which students' TCAP test scores for grades three through eight will comprise 15 to 25 percent of the student's final grade for the spring semester in the subject areas of mathematics, reading/language arts, science and social studies. The policy must utilize performance levels determined by the state board of education and be developed and implemented for the spring semester of 2011.

To Give a Teacher Log In Access for Claiming: • If a Group Information Sheet has been turned in for a teacher, they will have already been assigned a Login Name and Password. • School Admin or Building Test Coordinator MUST click on “Login Enabled” check box to ensure that the teacher can access the website. • Double check Teacher Licensure # for accuracy. • Primary Role should be “Teacher (Can Claim)” • You must do this for each teacher who will be claiming students at your school.
