STRATEGY FOR ACCELERATING MEMBERSHIP PROMOTIONAL MEASURES • Participation of FIEO in the local exhibitions / trade fairs through complimentary booth for promotion. • Personal field visits to Status Holders (unpaid members/non members) to convince them to renew / become members. • Organise domestic Trade Fairs to increase FIEO awareness among the traders. • Contacting non members participating in FIEO domestic events. • Identifying non member status holders from DGFT website and contacting them for membership.

  14. Contd.. SERVICES • Personal visits to the members for gaining their views on the services provided and sustaining relationship with the member. • The Conference Hall to be provided on rental services for the benefit of exporters clients / buyers.

STRATEGY FOR INCREASING PARTICIPATION IN DOMESTIC ACTIVITIES • Inorder to enhance the visibility of participation, the number of circular to be sent in a week may be increased from “one” to “two” i.e. one combined circular and one individual circular of the event scheduled for the same week as final reminder. • The limit of sending email from Individual email accounts may be increased per day from “200” to “500”. • Provision for organising events in remote areas needs to be created. • Independent circular as and when required (weekly basis) for International events may be allowed to send to attract more participation .

STRATEGY FOR IDENTIFICATION OF FAIRS/EXHIBITIONS/BSM WITH FOCUS ON B2B AND REVERSE BSM • Coordination with Indian Embassies abroad • Coordination with local chambers abroad • Feedback from exporters in regard to their specific interest • Coordination with Ministry of Commerce of different countries

  19. STRATEGY FOR PROVIDING NEW SERVICES TO MEMBERS • One India Show should be organised in India every year through a wide publicity domestically & internationally • Personal visit to status holders • An annual get together should be organised with all the members

  20. STRATEGY FOR EMPOWERMENT OF EMPLOYEES • Organising of short term courses related to work • Organising of management review programs for team building

  21. STRATEGY FOR SHORTER COURSES IN INTERNATIONAL TRADE • Certificate courses should be organised in association with the renowned institutes

  22. STRATEGY FOR RATIONALIZATION OF EXPENDITURE TO MAINTAIN FINANCIAL HEALTH • A good financial health can be maintained through generation of more and more sponsorship

  24. Regional Award(WR) and “ Vibrant India First” • Regional award WR for the year 2012-13 scheduled to be held in the month of December, 2014 • “ Vibrant India First” consisting  of "Reverse Buyer Seller Meet (RBSM)/ Exhibition at Gandhinagar, Gujarat  on 12th & 13th January 2015

  25. SUGGESTIONS TO GENERATE REVENUE • FIEO should prepare an year book for advertisements which will generate revenue. • One India Show should be organised in India every year through a wide publicity domestically & internationally. Publication of Souvenir comprising articles of interest to members on exports with advertisements.
