  1. How to Give Your Car a Professional Cleaning If you want to make the interior of your car looks great, it’s best to avoid the car washes that use huge brushes. These can harm your car, and you can perform a DIY car wash that will yield great results. Washing and waxing your car are some of the best ways to keep your car looking like new. However, these are not the only things you need to do to care for your vehicle. You should regularly hand-wash your car and use a pressure-washer and mitt with water and soap. This removes visible dirt, but there are also a few more steps to take. Check Your Car’s Condition It’s important to evaluate your vehicle’s condition so you’ll know how to wash it. If your car is fairly new or has a good wax coating, you may only need to wash and wax the car to maintain the look. However, cars with less than stellar exterior may need to be cleaned and polished. Learn About Cleaning Products Before you apply any cleaning products to your car, read the label. The ingredients and application methods for wax, soap and detailer are different, depending on the brand you use. For example, if you use a chrome wheel cleaner on wheels that are made with aluminum, you could ruin the wheels. It’s also best to use microfiber cloths to clean your vehicle and separate the

Be sure to use car washing soap instead of dish cleaner or liquid detergent for the exterior of your vehicle, so you won’t damage your paint or weaken the wax coating. Before applying soap rinse your car to get rid of large chunks of dirt that can scratch your car while you’re scrubbing the interior. Post-Wash Instructions After you wash your automobile, you may see swirls, scratches and oxidation in the paint cleaning. There may also be some substances like tree sap that doesn’t come off with washing. Run your hand over your car after washing it, and if you feel small bumps, it may be time to do a deep cleaning. You can use a clay bar to remove stubborn stains. The clay bar will take everything off the surface of your car, including the wax. The bars will also make the paint job smoother. It’s also a good idea to use a detailer as a lubricant after using the clay bar. Waxing Your Car Applying wax is an important step, and is similar to sunscreen for your vehicle. Wax adds a layer of protection from the sun’s rays and keeps the paint job from fading. The wax layer can also repel anything that falls on the car and preserve the gloss finish. These tips will help you to keep your car looking brand new and can also increase the resale value of your vehicle should you decide to sell it.
