Primary Reading:

TPRI/Tejas LEE and DRA/EDL

  • TPRI/Tejas LEE – identify students who need early intervention; match interventions to the needs; and document response to interventions & making changes in content/methodology based on data

  • DRA/EDL – measure level students can read “independently” (not than “instructional level”)

Purpose

Design

Individually administered; different structures (e.g., TPRI/Tejas LEE provide data on specific skills);

Status

Same as 2010-2011; all students

Calendar

See Benchmark Calendar; TPRI/Tejas LEE (K-2) – 3 times; DRA/EDL (grades 1-2) – 3 times/Kg – twice
