  4. Products and Services Billing • User can record any type of billable products/services to customers. This includes recurring items such line and equipment rentals, and fixed items such as service calls. • Pre-design common billable products/services. • New billable products/services can be created ad-hoc. • Products/Services can be billed from one to any number of times, or for an indefinite period. • Customer Invoicing • Unlimited number of billing cycles. • Reminders for payment can be emailed or printed out automatically. Customer Records • Search function allows customers to be located by account number, name (including partial matches), login ID, or phone number. • Records customer information which consists of address, email, contact numbers, company information, payment methods, and rate plans. • User can generate a list of contact people who are to receive invoices. • The following can be viewed online: • - Current account balance • - Account payments • - Account products and services • - Present and past customer invoices • - Customer calls and logins • - Customer status (i.e.. ‘Active’, ‘Closed’, ‘Suspended’, and ‘Pending’ as in pending activation) • Hierarchical customer relationships. • - A parent account can be defined for corporate customers where there are multiple users within the company. Agent Commissions • Records agent information, including address, email, contact number, billing plans and commission rates. • Keeps track of commission to agents. Records all commissions paid and owing to agents. • Different commission plans can be defined for different agents. Commission plans are based on a percentage of the usage charges or a fixed base amount. • Keeps track of all customer payments made through agents (for collection purposes).
