Overview • WPC Connect is the official external 2011 Worldwide Partner Conference online networking tool to facilitate Partner-to-Partner and Microsoft-to-Partner networking to drive business opportunities and revenue for Microsoft and its Partners • Provides capability to search for WPC attendees who have opted-in during WPC registration to find relevant partners or Microsoft to schedule meetings

  3. Accessing WPC Connect • Go to www.digitalwpc.com • Click ‘Connect’ from the top navigation

  4. How to Access Sign In • Click the ‘Visit WPC Connect’ button in upper right corner or at bottom of page • Add a photo and be on the Connect Wall, allows partner to do search and schedule meetings (can’t be on the Wall w/out a photo)

  5. Sign In • Click ‘Sign In’ button • Sign in using your Windows Live ID or Microsoft domain\alias and password to access WPC Connect

WPC Connect Overview Page • From this page you can do the following: • Schedule a Meeting at a Connect Table • Schedule a Meeting at a Location of Choice • View WPC Connect Meetings • View WPC Events Calendar • Access Quick Links • View Meetings Summary • Pending Requests • Confirmed • Declined or Cancelled

  7. Scheduling a Meeting • Click on the relevant meeting type - ‘WPC Connect Table’ or a ‘Location of Your Choice’ • WPC Connect Table hours: • Sunday, July 10, 10am - 5pm PT • Monday, July 11, 12pm - 6pm PT • Tuesday, July 12, 11:30am - 6pm PT • Wednesday, July 13, 11:30am - 6pm PT • Thursday, July 14, 8am - 4pm PT • Location of Choice hours: • Available 24/7 - July 9-July 15

Finding a WPC Attendee • Click on the relevant tab to Search for Partner or Microsoft • Partner Basic Search criteria: • Name, Company, Title, City, State, Country, Region, Postal Code • Partner Advanced Search: • Business focus, industry, competency, cloud emphasis and professional group • Microsoft Basic Search: • Same as Partner • Microsoft Advanced Search: • Partner-facing role, business focus, competency

Adding Meeting Participants • After completing the Search a list of best matches will appear • Locate the partner(s) of choice and click on the ‘Add to Meeting’ link (Note: may add up to ten people for WPC Connect table or up to 20 if you selected a meeting location of your choice) • The Guide box on right hand side will show you where you are in the process

  10. Adding Participants (cont’d) • Once all meeting participants are added, click ‘Select Meeting Time’ button in the Guide box

  11. Selecting Meeting Time - WPC Connect Table • Select Meeting Duration (set in 15 min increments up to 2 hrs- defaulted to 30 mins) • Select day for meeting • Select time slot based on meeting participants availability • In the Guide box - click on ‘Schedule the Meeting’

  12. Selecting Meeting Time - Location of Choice • Select meeting start day/time and end time • Check the Attendee Availability box before clicking on ‘Submit’ or ‘Schedule the Meeting’ (in Guide box)

Completing Meeting Details - WPC Connect Tables • Add Meeting Title • May select a Larger Table by clicking button or change from a Connect Table to Location of Choice (tables are assigned based on # of participants) • Check the box to include mobile number or email address as a way to be contacted • Include important meeting details • Add a relevant document • Click ‘Send Meeting Invitation’ to complete process

Completing Meeting Details - Location of Choice • Add Meeting Title • May change to a Connect Table • Add Location, Address, URL • Check the box to include Mobile Number or Email Address as a way to be contacted • Include any Meeting Details • Add a Relevant Document • Click ‘Send Meeting Invitation’ to complete process

  15. Meeting Summary • Confirms set up of meeting • Next actions include ability to: • Edit meeting details • Cancel meeting • Resend meeting invite as a reminder • Current status of meeting • For a Meeting Summary click on ‘Visit your WPC Connect Meeting Page’ for details

  16. My WPC Connect Meetings Summary • Click on ‘Pending’, ‘Confirmed’, or ‘Declined’ tabs to see summary of meetings • Click on ‘Details’ link to see meeting details

  17. Email Request for Meeting • Email is sent to requestor and participant(s) • By accepting the meeting will put it on your Outlook Calendar • If participant accepts it will put it on their Outlook Calendar and send confirmation of the meeting

  19. Managing Connect Meetings on Someone’s Behalf • The coordinator and participant need to be registered for WPC • Coordinator needs to be set up as a Group Manager during registration • Participant needs to be opted-in to WPC Connect • As a Group Manager, the coordinator can request ability to manage participant’s WPC Connect meetings • Participant must accept the request to give coordinator approval to manage WPC Connect meetings • May schedule, accept and decline meetings on participant’s behalf
