What’s New? • Evaluation Forms – PRIZE awarded • Free registration to a future Joint Techs (through Summer ‘12) • Forms turned in @ Reg Desk (by Wednesday am break) with business card • Card drawn @ Closing Remarks; do not need to be present to win • Prize can be used by winner or someone from winner’s organization ONLY (non-transferable) • NO cash value! Not valid for current/previous Joint Techs • Network Member/Connector BoF starts at 5:30 • JET Meeting is on MONDAY, starting at 7:15 (invitation ONLY) • Reception on TUESDAY will start at 6:30 pm instead of 6 pm

  3. This Meeting • Agenda includes presentations on Convergence, Emerging Technologies, Advanced Infrastructures, Performance Measurement, Security, and IPv6 • Infrastructure Updates from: • ESnet and Internet2 • DREN • ARIN • SC-Light GigaPoP • NOAA N-Wave • NTAC

  4. This Meeting (cont’d) • As of Sunday: 227 Attendees; 60 ESCC attendees; 6 Student registrants! • A few places left on Monday & Tuesday’s 12:15 pm tour. Meet @ Reg Desk – plan to grab lunch AFTER tours! • Tuesday Reception open to all ESCC attendees, even those not registered for Joint Techs • Please wear badges at ALL TIMES in Conference Center and to meetings/reception

Lightning Talks – Wednesday AM • 5 min on a topic of your choosing on interesting, timely, or off the wall • Submit proposals by 2PM Tue to:jt-lightning-talks@internet2.edu • The review committee will let you know by 6 PM Tues if accepted • Slides are not necessary. But if used are due by 10AM Wed to:jt-presentations@internet2.edu • 300-sec limit will be strictly enforced
