  3. Design factors • In order to achieve project restraints, data gathered for: • Grade • Wetlands • Population Density • Parks • Trails • Express stops (Light rail)

  4. GIS Analysis Buffer Clips Erase Slope calculation Used constraints to narrow possible routes from U-district to Everett.

  8. Recommendations • Option 1 • This minimizes changes to existing infrastructure, follows a low slope, and runs through locations where people come from/go to. • Option 2 • Fails to follow population density as well as Option 1. • Option 3 • Fails to follow low slope constraints.
