  • The knights did. The kings made the knights swear loyalty to them in exchange for land, money, and rank, but some leaders of a group swore and made the rest of the pack do it to.

  • Knights wear a vambrance, a helmet, breastplate, gauntlets ,cuisse, greaves, and a sword could also be used as defense.
