Rohit Sharma Says There Is Nothing Called Lazy Elegance Veteran Indian opener Rohit Sharma has shared his views on the much-talked lazy elegance during the latest interview with Dinesh Karthik for Sky Sports. He said that he doesn’t understand what lazy elegance is and one can’t be lazy while playing as well. Earlier he took the interview of Virat Kohli before the opening Test of the series and then, he interviewed the swashbuckling opener Rohit Sharma before the Lord’s Test. During the interview, Rohit opened up about plenty of things in length. When he was asked about his lazy elegance while batting, he turned down any such allegations as well. “When you’re playing a sport you cannot be lazy as simple as that you know maybe it may sound or it may look on television but if you’re lazy you cannot achieve what you want to achieve on the field you have to be at it like I said just now you have to be ahead of the game and you cannot be ahead of your opposition if you’re lazy,” Rohit said in the interview with Sky Sports. The 34-year-old opener has been one of the best in the business in world cricket. His ability to take the game away from the oppositions in the white-ball cricket is unmatched. And, now he has revived his Test career as well after being batter as an opener in the longer format as well. He further shared that one can’t play pull shot while being lazy against the bowlers who can bowl at 145 kmph.
