Aakash Chopra opines on India’s upcoming tour to England Former India player turned commentator Aakash Chopra has backed batting legend Rahul Dravid who said that Team India have a great opportunity to win the upcoming Test series in England. The former great has recently said that the Indian team have their best chance to win a series in England and also predicted a 3-2 scoreline in favor of India in the five-match Test series as well. Image source by twitter However, in a video shared on his YouTube channel, Aakash Chopra has also agreed with Dravid when he was asked by a fan about this. "I definitely agree, who will not agree with Rahul bhai. There is weight in what he has said, whenever India goes out these days, it is their best chance. To be fair, the chances had become less in Australia because of so many injuries but we won there as well," said Chopra. The former India cricketer also stated that if almost a second-string Indian team could win against Australia Down Under, a full-strength Indian team would certainly do better in England as well. "If you can win there with half a team, hardly eleven players who could be fielded, then to defeat England in England, I think this is a great opportunity. I definitely do agree with Rahul bhai," added Aakash Chopra. Notably, India will be high on confidence as they successfully beat Australia last year and then England at home earlier this year too. Meanwhile, they will play the inaugural World Test Championship final against New Zealand at first before taking on England in five-match Test series as well. And, Chopra acknowledged that batsmen need to step up to win series in England.
