  1. 5 Tips for Battling Postpartum Depression A huge number of women in this world suffer from postpartum depression. The journey of pregnancy is an exciting and emotional one. For almost a year you and your partner keep on planning your life, your home and everything around the new baby like thinking about the names, decorating the room for the baby etc. but after the arrival of the baby surprisingly you become clueless about your feelings. This is a clinical and serious form of depression and it requires attention. Here are a few tips to combat postpartum depression:- Self-Care and Reconnection:-As we know, self-love is the best love. Though after your baby arrives, it becomes difficult for you to carve out some alone time each day. But you have to put yourself first and manage some quality time for yourself- go for a walk, read good books, cook something you like, watch movies etc. Only if you are healthy, you will be able to take care of your baby. After self-care, shift your focus to the people you love for a while. Especially give your partner a little time every day to reconnect and talk to him. Also, meet your friends, siblings and other dear ones, go out with them for a meal or for movies or for shopping to refresh your mind.
