  2. #1 Reflect how the CTCPA functions administratively in 2012 • Modernize definition of officer responsibilities • Advisory Council increase to 30 members • “Student” instead of “Student Pledge” • Remove “Affiliate” category

  3. #2 Reflect how CPA firms do business today and attract new members to the Society • Simplify membership categories: • Certified Members • Associate Members

  4. Only Certified Members will… • Serve on our Board of Directors • Serve as our Officers • Serve on our Nominating Committee • Serve on our Audit Committee • Vote

  5. For Bylaws Vote to Pass: • 10 percent of membership must vote • Two-thirds majority required of • those casting ballots
