Middle Suwannee River Creel History • Initial survey conducted in 1971 – Gray Bass, Florida Game and Freshwater Fish Commission • 1988 SRWMD identifies entire basin as “most in need of attention” regarding Surface Water Improvement and Management (SWIM) • 10 angler surveys total; 1971-2004 • 6 consecutive surveys; 1999-2004

  5. Middle Suwannee River Creel Sample Design • 12-week, peak season, roving survey • 5 random sample days per 14-day period • Standardized questions • Data expanded with agency program: Creel Analysis Version 1.0
