  1. DETECTORES DE TEMPERATURA O RTD El RTD (detector resistivo de temperatura), es esencialmente un alambre de cierta longitud devanado, como bobina y cubierto con una manga protectora y su operación depende de la variación de la resistencia con la temperatura del alambre. Este alambre generalmente es de platino y es de los llamados ¨ Metales Puros ¨, estos metales llamados puros, tiene un coeficiente de resistencia de temperatura positivo, bastante constante. ¨ Un coeficiente positivo significa que la resistencia aumenta a medida que aumenta la temperatura ¨, esto quiere decir que su comportamiento lineal.

  3. En la figura , podemos observar la conexión para la prueba básica de un RTD, observe que el símbolo es una resistencia variable encerrada en circulo, cuya flecha indica hacia arriba, y afuera del circulo hay un ¨ T ¨ mayúscula.

  4. TERMISTORES • SON SEMICONDUCTORES CON UN COEFICIENTEDE TEMPERATURA DE RESISTENCIA NEGATIVO, POR LO QUE PRESENTAN UNAS VARIACIONES RAPIDAS Y EXTREMADAMENTE GRANDES PARA CAMBIOS RELATIVAMENTE PEQUEÑOS EN LA TEMPERATURA.
