  1. Greatest Golfers of All Time Who are the best golfers in the history of the game? We've ranked the all-time best women golfers, too, but here the focus is on the men. You know what they say about opinions: Everybody has one. What follows is our opinion about which golfers, and in which order, constitute the 25 male golfers of all-time. 1. Tiger Woods We remember the way his mammoth drives turned the par-5s into pitch-and-putts. What many people don’t remember about the 1997 Masters is how badly Tiger started the tournament. On the front nine on Thursday, Woods went out in 40, leaving him 4-over par. https://golfingindian.com/

  2. 2. Jack Nicklaus 3. Sam Snead Nicklaus brought out greatness in his opponents — Palmer, Player, Watson, Trevino. But more importantly, he made golf a greater game through his physical skill and strength, his mental toughness, his sustained level of excellence and his genius for strategically dismantling golf courses around the world. Samuel Jackson Snead was an American professional golfer who was one of the top players in the world for most of four decades. Snead won a record 82 PGA Tour events, including seven majors. He never won the U.S. Open, though he was runner-up four times. https://golfingindian.com/

  3. 4. Arnold Palmer 5. Ben Hogan William Ben Hogan was an American professional golfer who is generally considered to be one of the greatest players in the history of the game. He was born within six months of Sam Snead and Byron Nelson, who were two other acknowledged golf greats of the 20th century. There have been better players with prettier swings. But there has never been a more important golfer than the King, Arnold Palmer. He quadrupled purses, brought golf away from the country clubs and into our living rooms, and assembled an Army of devoted followers. He won — and lost — with more flair than any other athlete. https://golfingindian.com/

  4. 6. Bobby Jones 7. Tom Watson Robert Tyre Jones Jr. was an American amateur golfer who was one of the most influential figures in the history of the sport; he was also a lawyer by profession. Jones founded and helped design the Augusta National Golf Club, and co-founded the Masters Tournament. Thomas Sturges Watson is an American professional golfer on the PGA Tour Champions, formerly on the PGA Tour. In the 1970s and 1980s, Watson was one of the leading players in the world, winning eight major championships and heading the PGA Tour money list five times. https://golfingindian.com/

  5. 8. Gary Player 9. Gene Sarazen Gary Player DMS, OIG is a South African professional golfer widely considered one of the greatest golfers ever. Gene Sarazen was an American professional golfer, one of the world's top players in the 1920s and 1930s, and the winner of seven major championships. https://golfingindian.com/

  6. 10. Phil Mickelson Philip Alfred Mickelson, nicknamed Lefty, is an American professional golfer. He has won 43 events on the PGA Tour, including five major championships: three Masters titles, a PGA Championship, and an Open Championship.
