RD51 common TEST BEAM Test beam in 2012 • requested: • Three test beam period have been requested for 2012: • June, • end of July/ beginning of August • end of October / beginning of November. • EACH PERIOD be two weeks long. No period should be shorter than 10 days. • The test beam request to SPS exceed by a large factor (~3 !?!) the availabilities  RD51 MUST defend its needs • More news as soon as available RECALL: new possibility of financial support from AIDA for test beam ( http://aida.web.cern.ch/aida/activities/access/ )

  5. RD51 Common Projects 4 projects financed in 2011 NEW call for 2012 Dead-line 15/6 in order to have the output by the next Collaboration meeting

RD51 FUTURE 3/3 A first list of items for RD51 continuation: • New structures and detectors • MPGD Industrialization (GEM, Microgemas, Thick GEM) • Further Support of the LHC Upgrade Projects (ATLAS MAMMA, CMS GEM, ALICE TPC, …) • R & D Developments for Future Projects: • Software Support • RD51 Common Projects • Maintenance of the RD51 Test-Beam Infrastructure • Schools … CALL FOR MORE INPUTS, dead-line 1/6/2012 DEDICATED CB meeting at the June miniweek !
