  2. Richard Greco Jr. United States Government Official Richard Greco Jr. was appointed by President George W. Bush in 2004 to be the country’s 19th Assistant Secretary of the Navy, a position he held for three years. In that capacity, he was the senior financial manager for the Navy and Marine Corps.

Richard Greco Jr. Distinguished Service in the Department of the Navy Richard Greco Jr. spent three years as the Chief Financial Officer of the United States Navy, a position he served with distinction from 2004 to 2007. He earned the Distinguished Public Service Medal twice awarded by the Secretary of the Navy. He also served two terms as President of the American Society of Military Comptrollers, an association of 18,000 financial professionals. Greco lives in Tuckahoe, New York.

He also received the Meritorious Service Award presented by the Navy League of New York at a ceremony at the Waldorf-Astoria in New York City.
