  1. Rebuilt, Remanufactured Dodge 6.7L Diesel Engines The 6.7L Dodge diesel engine redeveloped by Roadmaster Engine Corporation with introductory factor of 350Hp and 650lb ft of torque. It is a one of the most strong and powerful B series engine that have been offered in Dodge or Ram Pickup. It replaced 5.9L diesel engine for some core reasons which are its stricter and rigid emissions regulations, old engine design for almost 10 years. This compelled or necessitated the need for developing a more advanced platform that will stimulate the future growth by considering its growing constraints. Dodge 6.7L is considered to be the first Cummins that need a DPF system i.e Diesel Particulate and which captures almost 90% soot from exhaust stream. It is also involved in the self cleaning process known as “regeneration” in industrial term. The Dodge 6.7L diesel engine generates upto 900lb ft torque. With the Configuration of Inline Six cylinder and B10 life of 250,000 miles (~400,000 km) and B50 life of 350,000 miles (~560,000 km), this Dodge 6.7L is counted as one of the most efficient diesel engine till date. Another variant of 6.7L was also launched in 2011 which was known as the High output variant. Though the rated Hp was kept unchanged, the speciality of this variant was the increase in Torque from 650lb ft to 800 lb ft. This was made available for heavy trucks that are equipped with 68RFE transmission. Hence the manual transmission version’s output stayed at 610 Lb ft. The year of 2013 experienced an another uplift in performance when a total of 3 variations of 6.7L Ram pickups was introduced. The 1st variation was suitable for automatic transmission equipped motor trucks as it features G56 6 speed manual with engine torque raised to 660 Lb ft and unaltered horsepower. The second variation was provided in 3/4 and one ton Ram pickups and is available as coupled with 68RFE manual transmission. This variation saw increase in output to 370 horsepower and 800Lb ft. The variation of high output produced around 385 hp and 850lb ft torque available coupled to Aisin AS69RC manual transmission and in one ton Ram pickups. Apart from these new offerings, the 6.7L Cummins has Selective Catalytic Reduction with DEF injection. The trucks was reported to experience an approx 10% rise in fuel economy as the latest engine line utilises the exhaust after treatment technology. To deal safely with this power level in terms of maintenance, these trucks is also given double transmission coolers and dual radiators, highly efficient intercooler of charge air cooler, huge capacity EGR, and efficient mechanical fan. The VGT exhaust system was enhanced for this 6.7L model to improve its effectiveness. Though the changes in 6.7L features and increase in torque in Dodge 6.7L was marginal compared to its competitors, this engine made a huge positive impact on the automobile industry.
