PEACE AND CONFLICT PREVENTION / RESOLUTION • Seminar on Mediation Techniques for LuponTagapamayapa • Distribution of books on Guide to become a LuponTagapamayapa to Lupons • Anti-violence Lectures in Schools and Barangays • Peace Forum • Projects addressing underlying causes of conflict – Disease, Literacy, Hunger and Poverty

  3. DISEASE PREVENTION and TREATMENT • ANTI – TB PROGRAM - Priority Project of Gov. Sammy and under Special Projects Head ChitoBorromeo - Focus on this with our adopted Daycare Centers - Focus on TB in Children • Gift of Life Bloodletting Program - in partnership with QC Red Cross - 35 units per club

  4. WATER and SANITATION • School-based Community Managed Potable Water Supply, Sanitation and Hygiene (CPWASH) - in partnership with DAR (RC QC Circle) - rainwater harvester tank for recycled water to be used in vegetable gardening and sanitation maintenance - attachment of filtration equipment that will make water safe for drinking • Information Dissemination on how to save water (Leaflets) • Joint projects with Manila Water and Maynilad • Adopt an Estero

MATERNAL & CHILD CARE • BusogLusogTalino Program with Jollibee Foundation – 32 clubs • School-based Feeding Program of DEPED • Anti-TB for Children – Daycare Centers • Buntis Assembly • Breastfeeding lectures • Immunization programs – provision of vaccines for major communicable diseases such as Polio, Hepatitis, Primary Complex, Pneumonia etc. • Information Drive on Parenting • Reproductive Health

BASIC EDUCATION and LITERACY • Concentrated Language Encounter (CLE) - RC Paraiso lead club – A teaching strategy used to enhance the learning and/or comprehension of students through the use of a local dialect/language. Teachers will be trained for 4 days on how to apply the strategy in their teaching of English or Filipino. - can sponsor 1 teacher for the training • Roving Computer and Speech Training Center - RCST Center - RC South Triangle • A free computer training on Basic Application Software in your adopted barangays or schools. • Sponsor snacks for orientation and graduation. • Book Donation in partnership with RC Makati Books Across the Seas (BATS) • ArawngPagbasain memory of the late Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino –

  7. ECONOMIC and COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT • Barangay Summit, School Summit, DAYCARE SUMMIT • ROTARY COMMUNITY CORPS (RCC) – thrust of Gov. Sammy as well – all clubs should have Rotary Community Corps • LIVELIHOOD SKILLS TRAINING – can link with SSDD of QC Government

  8. ECONOMIC and COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT • SHELTER – RC Commonwealth Housing Project • - Our Lady of Bannuex, ANCOP-DISTRICT 3780 Communities in Bgy. Silangan, San Mateo, Rizal • - 128 houses built already; target is 400 house • - At least 1 house per club – P55,000.00 • ENVIRONMENT projects – Distirct tree planting on June 26 in San Mateo Rizal • DISASTER PREPARENESS projects – RC 143 in partnership with QC Red Cross – in preparation for the Disaster Preparedness Training
