God’s Wisdom vs. World’s Wisdom 1 Corinthians 1:25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men. 1 Corinthians 3:19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, “He catches the wise in theirowncraftiness” Proverbs 9:10 “ The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom,       And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.

  3. Wisdom of the World • Go for the gusto.

  4. Go for the gusto. • Ordinary, everyday life is not good enough. • Get an education. • Get a job. • Get married. • Raise a family. • Die from boredom.

  5. Is life all about adventure? Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter:      Fear God and keep His commandments,       For this is man’s all. 14 For God will bring every work into judgment,       Including every secret thing,       Whether good or evil.

  6. Wisdom of the World • Go for the gusto. • Do unto others BEFORE they do unto you.

The right attitude • Matthew 7:12 Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets. • Matthew 5:44 But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, • Romans 12:18-21

  9. Procrastination gets you lost. Proverbs 10:5 5 He who gathers crops in summer is a wise son,        but he who sleeps during harvest is a disgraceful son. Proverbs 13:44The sluggard craves and gets nothing,        but the desires of the diligent are fully satisfied.

Hebrews 9: 27 And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment, John 5:28-29 Revelation 21:8 But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.” Matthew 25:46 And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”
