  10. In general, EQ involves: • Being aware of and managing your emotions • Having good interpersonal skills • Being adaptable • Managing stress well; and • Having a positive general mood

  16. U.S. Air Force • Best recruiters scored highest on EQ competencies of Assertiveness, Empathy, Happiness and Emotional Self Awareness. • Selecting recruiters based on this led to a $3M savings
