  2. Memorize f- C.R.A.P. font families Contrast Repetition Alignment Proximity Can you say all five OUT OF ORDER with your eyes closed? If yes, proceed to center. font families Bosses wear classier suits than the peasants. Sanserif and serif: use one for body and one for headings. Don’t use fun fonts. Contrast It’s hard to see polar bears in Antarctica. If light background  then use dark objects and vice versa. Repetition Something feels fishy if George changes clothes. Brains enjoy like repetition of images, styles and format. Alignment Soldiers get lost if they can’t march in unison. Make sure things are lined up. Proximity People don’t want to taste your lunch when you talk to them, but they should hear you clearly. Things should not be too close or too far apart. Final Exam Can you say the five elements OUT OF ORDER with your eyes closed? Can you recite the first sentence of each? Can you explain each of the elements? If yes to all three, congratulations! Go forth and Design. f-
