TOY DAY • Once a week (Friday) • Children should not bring toys on other days. • Toy circle according to the theme of the month. • Check the theme from the calendar with your child  Think together what it is and what to say about it to the others in English. • Sleeping toy should be soft and it should be in the child’s locker until resting time.

  4. P.E. / GYM / YOGA INSIDE • In the little gym • In two groups • Mondays&Tuesdays • Gym clothes in the orange gym bag: T-shirt and shorts

  5. 5 STARS • Language awareness (activate use of English, theme vocabulary) • Workbook (concentration, listening skills, special vocabulary, fine motorical skills) • Math workbook (shapes, amount, numbers, counting, size, time, space awareness)

  6. OTHER ACTIVITIES • ARTS & CRAFTS (According to the themes and seasons, different techniques) • FIELD TRIPS (Forest, Backas area, theaters) • MUSIC (Daily, morning circle, dancing, instruments) • SING-A-LONGS (Once a month, according to the themes, with other groups) • FREE PLAY (Daily, really important part of the day)

  7. OTHER INFORMATION • Monthly Letter (e-mail, on the info board in the corridor) • Clothes (inside and outside, spare clothes, gym clothes, according to the weather) • In case of the illness / holidays (inform us as soon as you know, also kitchen if special diet) • Discussions (first with 4 year old ones and new families, 5-stars later) • Arriving/Leaving (always inform the staff!!) • Washing Hands • Xylitol-tablets after lunch
