  2. Placing an Order for a SKU with several possible Assets • A SKU may contain more than one possible Asset. For example, this can occur in the case where an LP wishes to replace part of the Cisco content with their own content derived from Cisco content. • The example in the remaining slides shows 2 possible Assets that have been set up for a particular Delivering LP Site.

Placing an Order for a SKU with several possible Assets • An LP Site Administrator can follow the usual process to place an Order for their derived content through Cisco Learning Store at Gilmore. • For such an Order, the LP Site Administrator will receive an email with this Subject: ‘Order:xxxxxxFurther selection required’ • Since there are several possible Assets for the SKU, the Learning Offering cannot be automatically created. • The following slides explain how to create the Learning Offering and select the Asset to be used to fulfill the Order.

  4. Creating a Learning Offering for an Order • Find the new Order, and click the ‘Create Learning Offering’ icon to display the Learning Offering Information screen.

  5. Creating a Learning Offering for an Order • Enter a Name for the Learning Offering. Suggested naming convention is: ‘Order Number’ appended by ‘SKU ID’. • To select an Asset ID, click to the far right of ‘Asset ID’.

  6. Creating a Learning Offering for an Order • Select the Asset to be used to fulfill the Order and click Select.

  7. Creating a Learning Offering for an Order • Enter the Activation Period Start Date and Activation Period End Date for your class. We suggest a very long activation period. • Click Create to create the Learning Offering.

  8. Creating a Learning Offering for an Order • The Learning Offering is created and the Access Codes are generated for the selected Asset. • Follow the usual process to distribute the access codes.
