The pyramids of Giza Name- The Pyramids of Giza Location- Egypt Purpose/Significance- They were used to hold the tombs of the Pharaohs, and they held things that they would need in the afterlife. The smallest pyramid represents the son, the medium represents the father, and the biggest represents the grandfather. these are the pyramids of Giza located in Egypt.

  3. Cape Town Name- cape town Location- south Africa Purpose- it was the first European outpost at the castle of good hope, but now it is the hub of the cape. After some terrible storms happened on the cape, Dias nicknamed it “the Cape of Storms”, Later he renamed it “the cape of good hope” , because it was by the castle of good hope. Cape town is a beautiful beach in south Africa.

  4. Victoria Falls Name- Victoria falls Location- Zimbabwe/Zambia Purpose- It was made for developing and transmitting electrical power, and it is known for its bridge, Victoria Falls’ main landmark. Also, it is the 7th wonder of the world. This is Victoria falls, a waterfall in Zimbabwe.

  5. Marrakech Name- Marrakech Location- morocco Purpose- It was one of the four imperial cities, and the most important city in the history of Morocco. Marrakech got its name from the language of the Berber people, meaning “land of God”. This is a camel in Marrakech, Morocco.

  6. Omo River Region Name- Omo River Region Location- Ethiopia Purpose- It is the principal stream of a drainage basin, and it runs inside the borders of Ethiopia. If you follow the river, it eventually empties into lake Turkana. The first person follow the river was Vittorio Bottego. This is the Omo river in the Omo river region in Ethiopia. It empties into Lake Turkana.
