  2. Try to improve HES resolution • Apply Kato formula to EQ1 and EQ2 • Use uniform field map as ED • Use randomized magnetic field • Change B.M order (now using 8th B.M) • Tilt = 0 deg setup Everything is Not effective!

  3. Resolution : Comparing w/ HKS w/o Fujii’s Method, dx=80mm, dy=280mm HES Simulation HKS Simulation Angular resolution is important for QQD system!? if true … EDC2 plays quite important role for HES resolution (only EDC1, angular resolution is not good enough)

  6. Geant4 Update • Include EQ1, EQ2 vacuum chamber • Correct the distance between EQ2 and ED (60cm to 80cm) • Improve Primary Generation file selector • EDC include/not include selector in input file • Use CVS?

  7. Sieve Slit Study 1 • Placed at 30cm from EQ1 entrance • No Material, just a Virtual Detector • hole radius = 2mm, interval = 2cm

  9. ED Magnetic Field Changed! Bdl : 3.54→3.08 ?? Bdl seems to depend on the model meshing Now under investigation …

  10. Next to do • Calculate New FoM, including Collimator • Sieve Slit Study • Resolution improvement • Beam intensity, vp yield • Separation efficiency, Angular (Momentum?) Resolution • Include HDC • Field MAP upgrade
