  4. Incident Summary – 4 OSHA’s: • January • Slip on wet floor – Fracture • February • Stepping from ladder cage, rolled ankle - Sprain • April • Walking from one area to another, stepped in dip – Fracture • May • Tripped over parking block – Abrasion

  5. Incident Summary – 4 Precautionary • March • Excessive walking – muscle cramping/Strain • Slip on floor - Sprain • May • Lost balance while relocating – Contusion • Tripped in parking lot - Abrasion

What things can we do to improve walking at Texas Operations: • Identify hazards prior to working in the area • Walk the job, paying close attention to “walking” • Mitigate or Eliminate Walking hazards • Suggestion programs • Signage • Pre-task & SWP discussions • barricading • Maintain your health and know your limits • Take your time when walking on/around uneven surfaces • Achieve Physical fitness for the job • Be aware of your surroundings • Listen to your body when working in bent positions, take breaks, modify the working space when possible
