  2. LOCATION Scotland takes up one third of the territory of the British Isles. It is the most northern part of the island of Great Britain and is not far from the Arctic Circle.

  3. MAIN REGIONS Scotland is divided into three regoins: the Highlands, the Lowlands, the Southern Uplands.

  4. The Highlands of Scotland are among the oldest mountains in the world. The highest peak is ( 1343 m ). Ben Nevis.

  5. LOCH NESS is famous for its Loch Ness monster.

  7. FLAG It is the St Andrews Flag. The national emblem is a thistle
