Objectives of the training • To familiarize with basic principles of the solution oriented approach • To get new tools for the counseling work • To enhance the importance of cooperation between guidance counselors and other teaching staff • To offer tools for multiprofessional cooperation - guidance counselor as a part of multiprofessional teams • To increase information on the transition phase from the compulsory education to secondary education

  3. Content • Encountering students with special needs • Transition phase from compulsory education to vocational education • Activating the career choice of the student • Mapping out the (support) services available • Tools for evaluation to support the counseling work • Assessment of the needs

  5. Workingmethods • 3 contact sessions (3 days) with lectures and activating group discussions and group work • In between individual work and group discussions in the learning platform • Development task (a case study)
