  3. The Problem of Evil • If God is all good, then he would not want evil to exist. • If God is all powerful, then he would be able to keep evil from existing. • Evil exists. • Therefore God is either not good, or not all powerful, or perhaps neither good nor all powerful.

  4. The Problem of Evil • How can God exist and be the God he claims to be with so much suffering in the world?

  5. When Engaging Unbelievers Remember. . . • They are not the enemy; they are under enemy control. Be gracious. (Col 4:5-6) • You cannot convince them to change their mind, but God can. Pray. (2 Corinthians 4:3-6) • Since God is the one who ultimately wins them over, use God’s Words (Hebrews 4:12-13).
