Senior management team(6 + press) The senior management team is responsible for ensuring that the Petroleum Safety Authority Norway discharges the duties specified in the Crown Prince Regent’s decree, letter of allocation and the agency’s overall objectives. Øyvind Tuntland, director of professional competenceResponsible for results in six discipline areas and the HSE Communications and Public Relations team. Gerd Randi Kaland, director of operational support and developmentResponsible for results, human resources and competence development in the operations and development area. Inger Anda, press spokespersonPress spokesperson attends senior management meetings. Magne Ognedal, director-generalUltimate responsibility for results Anne Vatten and Finn Carlsen,directors of supervisory activities Vatten and Carlsen share responsibility for the supervisory activities in the teams. Olaf Thuestad, director of regulatory developmentResponsible for regulatory development, including cooperation with the parties and coordination and collaboration agreements with other government authorities.

Supervision - There are 6 main supervision groups, organized in relation to six groups of players.- Each main group has a contact person who is the regular contact for their defined players.- Each main group has a supervision coordinator who is responsible for products and formal decisions. StatoilHydro (shelf based activities) Shell, ExxonMobil, Eni, Marathon, GDF Suez BP, ConocoPhillips, Talisman, Total, operating companies that are in the exploration phase only, other licensees StatoilHydro (processing facilities onshore), Esso (processing facilities onshore), Naturkraft, Gassco Mobile facilities and drilling contractors Other contractors, Petoro Supervision

Professional competence • The Petroleum Safety Authority Norway is divided into discipline areas with dedicated leaders for each area. • Discipline leaders are responsible for personnel and development of competence. • 1. Drilling and well technologyDiscipline leader: Kjell Marius Auflem • 2. Process integrityDiscipline leader: Torleif Husebø • 3. Structural integrityDiscipline leader: Ole Jacob Næss • 4. Logistics and emergency preparednessDiscipline leader: Svein Anders Eriksson • 5. Working environmentDiscipline leader: Sigvart Zachariassen • HSE management and legal affairsDiscipline leader: Ingrid Årstad • HSE communications and public relations Personnel manager: Inger Anda Professional competence

Regulatory development Regulatory development Regulatory development has the overall responsibility for regulations and agreements, including strategies for formulating, preparation and principles for enforcement. Regulatory development is organized into three areas with the following responsibilities: • Follow-up of framework conditions, including EU/EEA, standardization and implementation of EU/EEA regulations, principle interpretations.Coordinator: Linda Halvorsen • Develop and maintain collaboration and cooperation agreements – national and international.Coordinator: Roar Andersen • Special projects, including assisting the Ministry in preparing White Papers and studies. Coordinator: Paul Bang

Operational support and development Responsible for internal operations and organisational development - Human resources and product responsibility- Development tasks are followed up by the Development Forum- Joint services The following teams report to director, Gerd Randi Kaland - Human resources, organization and company medical service- Finance- Internal security The following teams report to area manager Jorunn Romsbotn - Web information- Library- Document center - System development - Elsak- Canteen Operational support and development

Product responsibility rests with the main groups, which report to the directors of supervisory activities.
