  3. Moving In... • Nearest Driver and Vehicle Service Center is in Selinsgrove (20 min. south) • Register on-line for BU parking permit • Local TV networks are from Scranton • New cell phone? BU offers discount plans through Verizon and AT&T • October 4 is voter registration deadline

  4. Quirky Stuff... • Borough or township? Services vary • Must file local taxes in April – get form from Centax (can file online) • PA liquor laws • buy beer from package store • only available by the case • OR purchase at Weis, but quantity limited • wine, liquor from State Store downtown

Weis Center - $10 discount on event tickets for faculty and staff • Jazz at Bucknell - first Wednesday of every month in Bucknell Hall • Samek Art Gallery - 4000+ sq. ft gallery space • Student theater, dance and music productions • Early October - Art/Jazz night for new faculty & staff families (actual date TBA)
