Rural Missouri Health Co-opFirst Steps….24 months • Survey the service area for interest in insurance product • Involve health care providers as part of an incentive plan • Submit an RFP for a broker partnership • Secure a broker with like-minded principals • Obtain an insurance agent (producer) license • Develop a marketing plan • Develop a website (wellness focused) with assessment tools (WellnessWorks.HCCNetwork.org) • Develop agreement with broker for membership structure and marketing fees • Sign agreement with broker and begin marketing membership with insurance benefits
