A prognosis? • NEED TO FLATTEN OUT THE ABOVE (TOP) CURVE WITH A FAIRER TAX CODE • MOVE FROM MINDLESS JOB CREATION TO ENCOURAGE INHERENT RESOURCEFULNESS IN PERSONS [SUCH AS STEVE JOBS] • MOVE FROM A DYSFUNCTIONAL US CONGRESS TO MORE EFFECTIVE METHOD OF REPRESENTATION [OVERTURN CITIZENS UNITED, INCREASE TRANSPARENCY AROUND LOBBYING, DO AWAY WITH FILIBUSTER, MAJORITY VOTING NOT 60-40 IN THE SENATE] • USE THE PEACE DIVIDEND WISELY AND NOT NEW WARS • INCLUDE A PUBLIC OPTION IN HEALTH [THE SWISS MODEL ADOPTED BY THE USA WONT WORK] • NEED CORPORATE AND PUBLIC RESPONSIBILITY THROUGH JUDICIOUS AND MORE COOPERATIVE CHOICES AROUND REGULATION

What do you think OWS would react to that • Newt Gringrich: It is amazing that the media never asks OWS people simple questions on what they are all about. • J: Like what? • NG: For instance. Do the occupants of Zuccotti Park know that without profits from Wall Street they wouldn’t have a place to demonstrate in. What do they say to that? • What do you think?

  12. AND NOW? • Essentially there is still a lack of social RESPONSIBILITY • Fragmentation of the CSR concept has taken place • RESPONSIBILITY cannot be replaced by SUSTAINABILITY • Need for a new responsibility of GOVERNMENT
