  5. Secondary electrons in the cathode The anode register a negative current during operation It decrease as the big solenoid increase its strength Yellow line: secondary electrons emitted from cathode. RED LINE: Secondary ions returning to cathode

  7. Anode current in the anode The current intensity need to be set correctly but the trends will be the same

  8. Secondary electrons in the cathode Shifting the beam from the center helps to spread the ion back bombardment in the cathode
