  2. Theme The Psalms revealthe eternal Kingship of God. He IS the Loving Head and Ruler of the Universe. He deserves our ALL.

  3. Key Passage Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and Your dominion endures through all generations. The LORD is faithful to all His promises and loving towards all He has made. Ps 145:13

  4. 1. The King is THE Actual Owner Vs.1. The earth is the LORD’s Caretakers: Our time, the material world where we live, things we think we own, other people

  5. 2. The King is THE Actual Creator Vs.2 He founded it Workers: He has a purpose and mission for the things he has made. We consult him as to what those are. He tells us.

  6. 3. The King is Approachable Vs.3,4 Who may…clean hands and a pure heart Followers: We have access by being a devotee, a disciple a loyal subject.

  7. 4. The King is THE Rewarder Vs.5 Blessing…and vindication Beneficiaries: Providence & Forgiveness

First Summary The King values His creation and actively blesses those who seek Him Vs.6 The generation of those who seek Him Ps 145:13 Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and Your dominion endures through all generations. The LORD is faithful to all His promises and loving towards all He has made.

  9. 5. The King is Esteem Worthy Vs.7 Lift up your heads… Welcomers: Make way! Remove obstacles! Get rid of the distractions – at least for a while. Roll out the red carpet in your heart! Let Him In!

  10. 6. The King is Lord, Ruler & Judge Vs.8 The LORD strong…mighty in battle Subjects: the rule of law applies to all of us, and He has all the strength and resources to enforce it completely

  11. 7. The King is Highest In Rank Vs.9 Lift them up… that the King of glory may come in Worshippers: No matter who we are, we are to show Him the highest respect always with our sincere reverence.

  12. Second Summary The King rightly deserves all the honor that can be given to Him. Vs.10 Who is he, this King of glory? The LORD Almighty--he is the King of glory. Ps 47:7 For God is the KING of all the earth; sing to him a psalm of praise.

  13. Our Challenge Honor Him As King.
