RSPO members that sell palm products sourced in compliance with one or more of three RSPO-certified supply chain systems:- Identity Preserved (‘IP’)- Segregated (‘SG’)- Mass Balance (‘MB’)
WHO can NOT apply for the trademark?
Companies that are not members of the RSPO
RSPO members using the Book & Claim supply chain system
WHEN can members use the trademark?
If all palm-derived ingredients(>95%) in the product are covered by RSPO-certification
If storage/shipping/manufacturing sites have been RSPO-supply-chain certified
If a trademark license has been acquiredfrom the RSPO
WHERE can members use the trademark?
Only in communication that is directly linked to compliant productsFor example: product packages, product labels, product brochures, product websites
Members can notuse the trademark in their corporate communication
Non-commercial use requires authorization.
Is use of the trademark mandatory?
No; to communicate about RSPO-certified products is and remains voluntary;
However,IF members communicate to consumerson or about products using Trademark Logo,THEN they must apply for the trademark license

How much does it COST to use the trademark?
The trademark license is free for all members at least until 1 July, 2012
In the future, the RSPO may amend this trademark licensecompensation scheme.
How do I APPLY for a trademark license?
An online application form is at www.rspo.info/market
Provide the web address of supply chain certificate(s) and relevant products lists
After returning a signed License Agreement, you will receive digital artwork
The information will go into a public database

Companies can use the trademark for B2B product claims
Alternatively, they can use plain textclaims with percentages added. For example:- ProductName/SG-100%- ProductName/SG-60%,MB-20%
